This document explains:

Our website and its sub-domains may contain links to third-party websites. Those websites have their own personal data protection policies, and we assume no responsibility for them. II. How We Process Personal Data

Visitors to Our Website

We do not seek to identify individual visitors to our website www.biometricshouse.com. Where you consent to analytics cookies (see “Website Analytics” below), we process a pseudonymous online identifier that allows repeat visits to be distinguished. We do not combine that identifier with any other information that would allow us to identify you as a specific individual.

Our website uses cookies.

A cookie banner is displayed on your first visit and allows you to accept or decline analytics and marketing cookies.

Your choice is remembered and can be changed at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer of our website. The cookies used on our website are listed in the table below.

We may incorporate features of third-party websites into our website, in particular those of the LinkedIn social network. These features sometimes include scripts or other elements that may read and occasionally store cookies from those social networks on the user’s device. As the operator of the website www.biometricshouse.com, we have no access to those cookies or to the data they collect or control.

Website Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics 4 (property identifier G-KHQ900YH5N), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). We use it to measure traffic to our website, to understand how visitors use it, and to evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, obtained through the cookie banner. Analytics is not activated unless and until you give that consent. Our website implements Google Consent Mode v2, with the analytics and advertising storage categories (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) set to “denied” by default. This means that if you decline, or if you do not interact with the banner, no analytics or advertising identifier is stored on your device.

If you give your consent, Google Analytics stores cookies on your device, in particular _ga and _ga_KHQ900YH5N, containing a randomly generated pseudonymous identifier used to distinguish returning visitors. Event-level data is retained in our Google Analytics property for 14 months, after which it is deleted.

You may withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer of our website. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal.

Where you consent to marketing cookies, we also use the Google Analytics advertising features (Google signals), Google Ads remarketing provided by Google, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. These features allow us to obtain aggregated demographic and interest data about visitors to our website, and to display our advertising on Google and LinkedIn services to persons who have previously visited our website. The legal basis for this processing is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, obtained through the cookie banner. These features are not activated unless and until you give that consent, and no advertising identifier is stored on your device before then. You may withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer of our website, with the same effect as described above. Where personal data is transferred to Google LLC or to LinkedIn Corporation in the United States in connection with these features, such transfers are covered by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and by the Standard Contractual Clauses forming part of the relevant provider’s data processing terms.

Other Third-Party Resources

In addition to the above, our website loads certain technical resources from servers operated by third parties:

The legal basis for the processing of your IP address in connection with the loading of the resource described above is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest consists of displaying our website correctly and delivering it securely and reliably. We process the IP address only to the extent necessary for the relevant resource to be delivered; we do not use it to identify individual visitors and we do not create profiles. You may object to this processing at any time under Art. 21 GDPR (see Section III of this document).

Embedded Google Maps map is loaded only where you click the button displayed in the map preview. That click constitutes your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR to the loading of the map and to the transmission of your IP address and other technical connection data to Google, which may process such data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Your consent applies only for the duration of your browsing session and expires when you close the browser tab; you may withdraw it at any time by closing the tab, which does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal. If you do not click the button, no data is transmitted to Google in connection with the map.

We use Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (“Cloudflare”) to host this website through Cloudflare Pages and to deliver its content through Cloudflare’s content delivery network (CDN). When you access our website, Cloudflare processes technical information necessary to establish the connection and deliver the requested content, including your IP address and information relating to the HTTP/HTTPS request. Cloudflare operates a globally distributed network and ordinarily routes requests through an appropriate Cloudflare data centre. To the extent that Cloudflare processes personal data on our behalf, it acts as our processor under Cloudflare’s Data Processing Addendum. Cloudflare may process personal data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Cloudflare participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework in respect of transfers covered by that framework.

Visitors to the Biometrics House Profile on LinkedIn

Biometrics House maintains a profile on LinkedIn (hereinafter the “Social Network”). This profile is used to raise brand awareness and to present Biometrics House, the Biometrics House building, its services, products, vision, achievements, and news.

Operating the Biometrics House pages on the Social Network constitutes our legitimate interest, as it represents an important channel of communication with customers, prospective customers, and the general public.

When you visit our pages on the Social Network, we may receive an overview of traffic statistics via cookies placed by the third party (the network operator). We may also receive personal data (depending on the user’s profile and privacy settings on the Social Network) when visitors interact with us on the Social Network, react to our posts, leave comments, share our content, or otherwise engage with our activities. We assume that users have provided such personal information voluntarily. We will process personal data for purposes related to the presentation of our company and the Biometrics House building on the Social Network, which we consider our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Personal data is retained for as long as the relevant post, comment, or reaction is publicly displayed on our page. Where we generate our own outputs, statistics, or reports containing personal data in connection with operating our Social Network page (e.g. overviews of comments, interactions, or other reactions), we retain such data for a period of 3 years from the date of collection, or anonymise it so that it contains only aggregated statistical information.

Please note that if you click on the Social Network button placed on our website, you will be redirected to a website operated by third parties (e.g. LinkedIn), which have their own personal data protection policies for which we assume no responsibility. Operators of social networks may place cookies on the computer or other device of any person who visited our page. Biometrics House and the Social Network are jointly responsible for the processing of personal data of visitors to our page. However, cookies of the Social Network are in our case used and managed exclusively by the Social Network operators. For further information, please see: LinkedIn Privacy Policy, LinkedIn Cookie Policy, and the LinkedIn Page Joint Controller Addendum.

Communications

When you communicate with us, Biometrics House, s. r. o. receives the personal data you provide in such communication (in particular, your name, surname, and contact details). We assume that you provide such personal data voluntarily and that the data you provide is accurate and up to date. Handling your correspondence constitutes our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We also assume that by sending such correspondence you expect and agree that we may subsequently contact you by e-mail, telephone, or electronic message for the purpose of handling your correspondence or request. Personal data obtained in this manner is processed only for the duration of the relevant purpose, and for a maximum of 3 years following the end of the last communication (unless there is another ground for longer retention).

Reservation Forms on our Website (Office Rental, Building Tours, Event Spaces, General Contact Form)

When you contact us through one of the reservation forms on our website, Biometrics House, s. r. o. receives the personal data you provide in that form (in particular, your name, surname, and e-mail address). We assume that you provide such personal data voluntarily and that the data you provide is accurate and up to date.

In each case, the legal basis for the processing of personal data is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Depending on the type of form used, the legitimate interest consists of:

We may also process the data on an aggregated statistical basis to carry out an initial analysis of interest in our spaces, events, and tours, with a view to better understanding demand, its development, and seasonality.

We process your personal data for the above purposes for the period necessary to fulfil the relevant purpose, and for a maximum of 3 years from the date of last contact (unless there is another ground for longer retention).

In connection with the operation of the reservation forms and the processing of your enquiries and reservations, your personal data may be processed on our behalf by service providers acting as our processors, in particular Google Ireland Limited, whose Google Apps Script and Google Sheets services we use to receive and store form submissions and whose Google Workspace service we use for related e-mail notifications, as well as by the website administrator, to the extent necessary for the administration and technical support of the website. Where a processor engages sub-processors or otherwise processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, such processing is subject to the applicable requirements of the GDPR, including the requirements governing transfers of personal data to third countries.

Separately from the data you enter in the form, information about the origin of your visit may be attached to your submission (campaign parameters contained in the address of the page you arrived on (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), advertising click identifiers (gclid, li_fat_id, fbclid), the referring page, the landing page on which you entered our website, and the date and time of your first contact. This information is recorded in your browser’s local storage under bh-atribucia for 30 days and is attached to your submission only where you have given consent in the cookie banner. We use it to identify which campaign or source generated your enquiry and to evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing. The legal basis for this processing is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, obtained through the cookie banner.

Newsletter / Direct Marketing

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we may send you newsletters related to the product or service in which you expressed interest — events, office rental, or building tours (we may use categorisation and segmentation for this purpose) — as well as general news and updates about Biometrics House.

If, through a reservation form, you have also consented to receiving commercial offers regarding products and solutions presented in the Biometrics House building (including, for example, interior elements, meeting room solutions, architectural and technological solutions), such commercial communications will be sent exclusively by Biometrics House, s. r. o. on its own behalf. Personal data is not disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes.

Subscribing to the newsletter is not your legal obligation and is entirely voluntary. We assume that the data you provide upon subscribing is accurate and up to date. The legal basis for the processing is your consent. The purpose of the processing is our direct marketing — i.e. the sending of commercial communications as described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any e-mail you receive, or by sending a message to [email protected]. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal.

We will process your personal data for direct marketing purposes for the duration of your consent, and for a maximum of 3 years (we may ask you to renew your consent upon its expiry).

Newsletter subscriptions are submitted through the same route as the other forms on our website: the submission is processed by Google Apps Script and stored in Google Sheets, and related e-mail communications are handled through Google Workspace, in each case provided by Google Ireland Limited acting as our processor. We do not use any third-party e-mail marketing or newsletter distribution platform. Where Google engages sub-processors or otherwise processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, such processing is subject to the applicable requirements of the GDPR, including the requirements governing transfers of personal data to third countries.
